Revenue Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Manager to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our revenue management team, you will be responsible for maximizing hotel room revenue through effective pricing, rate parity distribution across all channels, and hotel inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze competitive sets, price positioning, and future market needs to optimize revenue growth.
  • Support and execute market-wide strategy and promotion implementation to drive revenue.
  • Monitor and optimize revenue systems to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain rate parity across all distribution channels to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor daily online pricing to ensure alignment with pricing and sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with market and competitor developments to inform revenue decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and revenue growth.
  • Optimize and maintain revenue management systems to drive revenue growth.
  • Train and mentor team members to ensure best practices in revenue management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in revenue and reservations.
  • Experience with booking systems, revenue management systems, GDS, OTA extranets, and channel managers.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to take ownership of important issues, solve problems, and make effective decisions.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to our unique culture.
  • Humility and openness to ideas, with a willingness to try new approaches.
  • Passion for creating great hospitality experiences and exploring new locations.
