Restaurant Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for directing the operations of our restaurants and ensuring that our service standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Monitor and control food and beverage costs, inventory, and labor expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Bars & Restaurants to develop and implement new menu concepts, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in hospitality, preferably in a restaurant management role.
  • Proven track record of success in managing high-volume restaurants, with a focus on customer satisfaction, sales growth, and team development.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive results.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, with a strong understanding of local market trends and customer preferences.
