Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team at Heritage. As an Account Representative I, you will play a critical role in driving sales revenue and profit dollars by identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through personal sales calls and customer interactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase sales revenue and profit dollars.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, sales volume, and expenses.
  • Attend sales meetings and training programs to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Stay informed on major environmental regulatory changes and industry trends.
  • Demonstrate ability to adapt to changing business and customer needs.
  • Manage and control sales expenses to ensure timely submission of business expenses.
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of Heritage's service offerings.
Requirements
  • Four-year college degree required; Sales, Business, Marketing, or Science preferred.
  • 3 years proven industry-related sales experience required, or 7+ years of proven related industry experience in lieu of degree.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of computers and working understanding of all Heritage services.
  • Proven sales ability and ability to negotiate pricing and contract requirements.
  • Travel required 80% of the time, overnight travel required.
