Compensation Specialist for Global Operations

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our Barcelona HR team. As a key member of the payroll department, you will be responsible for monthly payroll tasks from collecting data and bonus calculations to delivering reports to local partners at the EU level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Salary file preparation & processing: Format payroll data into structured files for processing in payroll software.
  • Compensation & Bonuses: Calculation of commissions and bonuses from provided data.
  • Data Collection & Verification: Gather essential payroll data, including salary changes, annual vacation days, unpaid absences, sick leaves, newcomers and leavers, bonus payments, salary increases.
  • Cooperation with local salary offices in each country.
  • Reporting & Record Keeping: Generate monthly and year-end payroll reports for finance and auditing purposes and maintain accurate payroll data and employee data in our HR platform.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR software and Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and accurate with numbers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to meet strict critical deadlines and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills in English and collaborative mindset.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of €45,000 - €55,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as private health insurance, cultural activities, and continuous development opportunities.
