About the RoleThis position plays a crucial role in establishing and facilitating best practices for achieving economies of scale in the procurement of materials necessary for effective and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Negotiate pricing, supplier contracts, and service level agreements
- Process purchase orders, requisitions, and other purchasing documents
- Schedule and coordinate delivery of materials and equipment
- Review Bill of Material with Management to determine major buy-outs and subcontracts versus field order/release items
- Develop Project Procurement Plan in conjunction with Management
- 7-10 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the electrical industry
- Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate in English and Spanish
- Hybrid work schedule and half Fridays
