We are looking for an experienced Event Management Coordinator to join our team at Miiro Borneta, a luxury hotel in Barcelona's historic El Born district.
As Event Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing group events, weddings, and other special occasions. You will work closely with the Sales and F&B teams to ensure seamless execution of events, from initial inquiry to event completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Group reservation & events management: Process and coordinate rooming lists, create and manage group reservations, collaborate with Sales and F&B teams, manage event logistics, and review show rooms daily.
- Customer Service: Respond to customer requests by phone and email in a professional and responsive manner, ensure rigorous follow-up of files, and handle special requests in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Billing Monitoring: Track group billing in conjunction with the accounting department, manage reminders to customers for pending payments, and ensure deadlines are met.
The ideal candidate will have experience in event coordination, preferably within the hospitality industry, proficiency in hotel management tools, excellent written and oral communication skills, great organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.

Fundamental requirements for this position include fluency in English and Spanish, proficiency in common office tools (Excel, Word, etc.), and the ability to work as part of a team and collaborate closely with the Sales & Events Manager and other hotel departments.
