Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the digital media landscape.
  • Analyze the financial and operational performance of potential business opportunities and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Identify, evaluate, and coordinate potential acquisition targets that align with our company's strategic objectives.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of deals, ensuring alignment with our company's goals and risk tolerance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal teams, financial advisors, and investment banks, to execute transactions.
  • Evaluate and recommend investments in new ventures, technologies, or markets that offer strategic growth opportunities.
  • Oversee the company's investment portfolio and make informed decisions on divestitures to optimize returns.
  • Plan the collaborative integration of new acquisitions to ensure they deliver expected value.
  • Work closely with the finance team to assess the financial impact of potential deals and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and manage financial models and forecasts to support decision-making.
  • Present financial analyses and recommendations to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Build and lead a high-performing corporate development department, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or strategic consulting, preferably within the digital media industry.
  • Proven track record of successful M&A transactions and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience leading, managing, and developing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in Crypto is required, and experience in iGaming is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
