We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to drive our growth in the food industry. As a Sales Growth Specialist, you will be responsible for accelerating sales growth across Spain, through hunting for new customers and nurturing existing ones.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading company in the food testing industry. You will be working with a rich 60-year legacy of providing leading testing instrumentation to the food industry, including near-infrared, process NIR, and rheology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a strong technical knowledge of our portfolio of products serving food markets.
  2. Develop, implement, and execute a strategic business plan to grow PerkinElmer's revenue in food testing capital equipment in the assigned territory.
  3. Responsible for all aspects of territory management, including prospecting, establishing, and maintaining relationships in food processors and food testing accounts, and closing deals with new and existing customers.
  4. Responsible for establishing and managing local distributors and dealers.
  5. Conduct effective seminars and presentations.
  6. Manage and maintain a healthy funnel of opportunities, provide accurate forecasts, and successfully convert the funnel to revenue to meet the territory sales quota.
  7. Demonstrate strong initiative and willingness to take ownership of results.
  8. Maintain knowledge of PerkinElmer/Perten products, as well as knowledge of competitors' products, prepares, documents and updates PerkinElmer presentation aids accordingly.
  9. This position requires a willingness to travel and 50% will be overnight.
  10. You must also possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Your Profile
  1. Bachelor's Degree
  2. 3+ years sales experience
  3. Proven ability to carry and deliver a sales quota over $2M annually.
  4. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships at a high level within large strategic accounts.
  5. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  6. Self-motivated and energetic with a results-focused approach to achieving daily goals/activities.
  7. Aptitude to learn new systems and retain technical information.
