About the Role

At Sin Nombre, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Analytics to lead our data strategy and drive business outcomes. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing data programs and analytics platforms to extract actionable insights from our data.

Main Responsibilities
  • End-to-end accountability for analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Scope and stakeholder management, effectively communicating with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and objectives.
  • Design, vision, and road mapping, developing a comprehensive analytics strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Staffing, testing, UX, and execution, leading a geographically distributed team to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
  • Change management, driving cultural and mindset change within the organization toward knowledge and use of analytics.
  • Data management and algorithm selection, leveraging expertise in data management and algorithm selection to drive business outcomes.
  • Business question formulation and technology leverage, identifying opportunities to leverage new technologies and drive business value.
  • Manage relationship with IT vendors and related budget, ensuring effective vendor management and budget allocation.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in engineering or computer science.
  • 7 years of experience in Analytics with a minimum of 3 years in Advanced analytics and machine learning.
  • Knowledge of SAP analytics products, Microsoft Power BI, and AWS marketplace (GitHub, dbt, Snowflake).
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
