Project & Structured Finance Senior Analyst EMEA (Solar & BESS) - Renewable Energy Expert

Leap29 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Finance Analyst to support the development, financing, and sale of large-scale Solar & BESS projects across the EMEA Region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain complex financial models for project acquisitions, financings, PPA and EPC bids, and M&A activities.
- Coordinate due diligence for acquisitions, financings, and sales, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare comprehensive market reports, investment memorandums, and project teasers to facilitate business development.
- Assist in the origination, negotiation, and closing of finance transactions, leveraging expertise in financial analysis and modeling.
- Analyze investment drivers, perform sensitivity analyses, and assess tax and regulatory implications to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and ensure smooth project progress, fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Conduct research, statistical analysis, and manage project insurance programs to mitigate risks and optimize returns.
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with macros and Visual Basic.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities, with a focus on project finance and M&A.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project finance and/or M&A, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience with a Big Four firm or investment fund is a plus.
- MBA or relevant master's qualification is highly desirable.
- Native-like proficiency in English (other European languages are a plus).
