Project & Structured Finance Manager EMEA (Solar & BESS) - Renewable Energy Expert

Leap29 is seeking a highly skilled Project & Structured Finance Manager to oversee Solar & BESS projects across the EMEA Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing financial models, coordinating due diligence processes, and preparing market reports.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Modeling: Develop comprehensive financial models for tenders, project acquisitions, PPA negotiations, financing, and sales purposes.
- Due Diligence: Coordinate due diligence processes for acquisitions, financing, and sales, ensuring seamless execution.
- Market Analysis: Prepare market reports, investment memorandums, project teasers, and other required documents and presentations to support business development.
- Financial Model Management: Design, adapt, and maintain detailed financial models for projects related to acquisitions, financings, PPA and EPC bids, and M&A activities.
- Model Management: Manage models developed internally or sourced from third parties, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Investment Memorandums: Create investment memorandums and briefs for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key investment opportunities.
- Transaction Support: Assist in the origination, negotiation, and closing of project and corporate finance transactions, collaborating with banks, financial partners, and advisors.
- Deal Structuring: Identify and evaluate key investment drivers, perform sensitivity analyses, and provide analytical assessments to structure deals efficiently.
- Tax and Regulatory: Understand and assess the tax and regulatory implications of business opportunities in the region, ensuring compliance.
- Market Evaluation: Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to evaluate key markets and identify new business opportunities from a financial and business perspective.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with Sales, Business Development, Engineering, Legal, and other departments to ensure projects progress smoothly and efficiently from a project finance perspective.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct general research and statistical analysis to support business decisions.
- Insurance Program Management: Support the management of project insurance programs in the region, ensuring optimal coverage.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the structured Finance Team to meet various project demands, driving business growth.
- Financial Modeling Expertise: Proficient in financial modeling with advanced Excel skills, including experience with macros and Visual Basic.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial and mathematical modeling techniques for project finance and asset valuation.
- Industry Experience: At least three years of experience in Project Finance or M&A, with a strong understanding of the renewable energy sector.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and fluently.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, driving collaboration and results.
- Data Management: Capable of synthesizing and organizing large amounts of data and managing multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Time Management: Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks, ensuring timely delivery.
- International Experience: International experience is highly valuable, with a strong understanding of global markets and regulations.
- Education: Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
- Language Skills: Spanish and English language capability, with excellent communication skills.
