Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Project Manager for Renewable Energy Projects to join our fast-growing US consultancy team in Madrid. This role will involve client-facing work and require some level of travel. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow as a renewable energy professional and contribute to the company's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in the management of consulting, engineering, and testing projects.
- Produce solar resource studies and perform energy production estimates using tools such as PVsyst.
- Analyze renewable energy project-level documentation, including interconnection agreements, power purchase agreements, EPC agreements, O&M agreements, permits, and environmental reviews.
- Verify electrical designs of renewable energy projects.
- Perform reviews of equipment used on potential renewable energy projects.
- Continuously evaluate process improvement for technical due diligence reports produced.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in photovoltaic design and/or consultancy.
- Excellent understanding of solar electrical design.
- Experience with PVsyst and other modeling software.
- Experience in the US market is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar engineering degrees.
- Knowledge of multi-state and federal government regulatory requirements for solar development and operation.
- Knowledge of general solar construction and operation requirements.
- Knowledge and familiarity with NEC code.
