Leap29 is seeking a highly skilled Project & Structured Finance Senior Analyst to support the development, financing, and sale of large-scale Solar & BESS projects across the EMEA Region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for project acquisitions, financings, power purchase agreements, and engineering, procurement, and construction bids.
- Coordinate due diligence for acquisitions, financings, and sales, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Prepare in-depth market reports, investment memorandums, and project teasers to facilitate business growth.
- Assist in the origination, negotiation, and closing of finance transactions, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Analyze investment drivers, perform sensitivity analyses, and assess tax and regulatory implications to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and ensure smooth project progress.
- Conduct research, statistical analysis, and manage project insurance programs to mitigate risks.
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with macros and Visual Basic.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities, with a focus on project finance and M&A.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project finance and/or M&A, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and prioritize tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience with a Big Four firm or investment fund is a plus.
- MBA or relevant master's qualification is highly desirable.
- Native-like proficiency in English (other European languages are a plus).
