About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing manufacturing processes and associated equipment for new products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and associated equipment for new products, taking into account industrial policy, existing standards, and project constraints.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes.
- Perform industrial documentation, including industrial data sheets and IMFU (Industrial Maturity Follow-Up).
- Participate in validation of prototypes and develop specifications for industrial means for serial production.
- Define workstation layouts, taking into account ergonomic and EHS rules, and optimize movements.
- Perform line balancing and validate product design and industrialization through FAR and FAI.
- Support production to achieve manufacturing QCD targets.
Requirements
- Engineering Graduate, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Organization.
- Fluent in English (B2 or equivalent), French would be an asset.
- Manufacturing or Manufacturing Engineering background with 2 to 5 years' experience, preferably in the railway industry.
- Technical experience in Process Engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, line balancing, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of CATIA.
- Experience in welding processes.
