Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Alstom in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda - Barcelona. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for defining the manufacturing process and associated equipment for new products, taking into account industrial policy, existing standards, and project constraints.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and equipment for new products, ensuring compliance with industrial policy and existing standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Production, to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes.
- Perform industrial documentation, including industrial data sheets and IMFU, to support manufacturing operations.
- Participate in the validation of prototypes and develop specifications for industrial means for serial production.
- Define workstation layouts, taking into account ergonomic and EHS rules, and optimize movements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Support Production to achieve manufacturing QCD targets and contribute to the industrialization of retrofit after engineering changes.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in process engineering, manufacturing, and industrialization. You will have a degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Organization, and a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the railway industry.
You will have a strong understanding of process engineering, manufacturing work instructions, line balancing, and Lean Manufacturing. Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, and knowledge of CAD and PLM tools, including CATIA and DELMIA, is also essential.
You will be a team player with a strong spirit of collaboration and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. You will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
