At Alstom, we're looking for a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda, Barcelona. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for defining the manufacturing process and associated equipment for new products, taking into account industrial policy, existing standards, and project constraints.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Define the manufacturing process and associated equipment for new products
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to perform industrial documentation and estimate manufacturing workload
  • Participate in product design and co-engineering, using appropriate methodologies
  • Design the macro-process based on standard SMP
  • Prepare introduction of new technologies and associated process validation plans
  • Identify needs for specific manufacturing equipment and estimate method time
  • Perform preliminary line balancing and identify critical process steps for detailed Process FMEA and FAR/FAI

About You

  • Engineering Graduate, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Organization
  • Fluent in English (B2 or assimilated), French would be an asset
  • Manufacturing or Manufacturing Engineering background with 2-5 years' experience, preferably in the railway industry
  • Technical experience in Process Engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, line balancing, and Lean Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of CATIA and experience in welding processes
