About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Alstom in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda - Barcelona. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for defining the manufacturing process and associated equipment for new products, taking into account industrial policy, existing standards, and project constraints.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Design and implement industrial documentation, including industrial data sheets and process validation plans.
  • Estimate manufacturing workload and perform line balancing to optimize production efficiency.
  • Participate in the development of specifications for industrial means and workstation layouts.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in process engineering, manufacturing operations, and industrialization. You should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key qualifications include:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Organization.
  • Fluent in English (B2 or equivalent), with French as an asset.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the railway industry.
  • Technical experience in process engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, line balancing, and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP, and CAD/PLM tools, such as CATIA and DELMIA.
