Country Director for Spain

We are seeking a seasoned Country Director to lead our operations and business development in Spain. As the Country Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's business strategies, managing the local activity, and ensuring the overall success of the market.
The ideal candidate is a strong sales-oriented leader with a deep understanding of the local market and business landscape within our industry. They should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and professional organisations.
Responsibilities:
- Owning the P&L for the assigned country/region, including sales, trade and marketing spending strategies, financial feasibility, planning and control in country.
- Develop and implement the company's business strategies and objectives in the assigned country/region.
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and regulatory changes to identify business opportunities and potential risks.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand the company's market share and customer base.
- Ensure compliance of our activity with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on market performance, business activities, and financial results to senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Country Director or similar senior sales or revenue leadership role.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the local market and business landscape.
- Team player with excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in the local language and English.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
