Technical Support Specialist

Fortinet is expanding its EMEA technical support teams and seeking a skilled Advanced Services Engineer to deliver exceptional technical support to high-profile customers in the region.
The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a deep understanding of data networking protocols, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
Responsibilities will include advanced troubleshooting of Fortinet products, tracking and prioritizing technical cases, and managing customer communications and expectations.
The successful candidate will also participate in customer conference calls, reproduce customer environments, and develop best practices deployment and troubleshooting documentation.
Key requirements include a strong understanding of security products and technologies, experience in technical support roles, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Advanced knowledge of English is essential, and proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced troubleshooting of Fortinet products
- Track, maintain, and prioritize technical cases

Skills and Attributes Requirements:
- Strong understanding of data networking protocols
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and customer handling skills
- Experience in security products and technologies
- Previously worked in a technical support position
- Deep working knowledge of Windows, Linux, or Unix
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in a technical support role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Advanced knowledge of English
