About the Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead our environmental services team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
">- Identify new business opportunities and evaluate potential customers' needs and ability to provide service.
- Develop and implement region and territory-specific sales strategies, including target lists and regional outbound call center campaigns.
- Manage and train a team of account representatives to increase sales volume at existing accounts and establish new customer relationships.
- Monitor sales and customer service interactions to ensure effective communication and timely billing for services.
- Participate in negotiations for third-party transportation, disposal, and recycling services as needed.
- Provide corporate account support by establishing relationships with regional industries and providing training to account representatives and customer service representatives as needed.
- Engage each service area manager as the P&L stakeholder to foster frequent and open communication in support of operational goals and initiatives.
Requirements
">- A minimum of eight years of successful experience in territory management in the environmental field.
- Four-year college degree required, preferably in sales, business, or science.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Strong writing skills and a working understanding of all Heritage Services and environmental regulations.
- Demonstrated success in selling services and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
