Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Retail Sales Professional to join our team in Ames. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing top-tier customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
- Assist customers daily with their purchases, offering product recommendations based on their needs
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized sales floor and stock room, ensuring products are easily accessible to customers
- Perform front-end cashier responsibilities, including sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Unload and organize new products, restock shelves, and assist with product merchandising
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis
- Ability to stand or move for extended periods
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and attention to detail
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Regular attendance
- Desire for growth and advancement
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Access to reliable transportation to and from work locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of and experience in the Vapor industry
- Prior retail, customer service, or cashier experience
- Comfort with consistent use of technology for tasks
