The Job

As a Strategic Sales Director for Association Congress Growth, you will be responsible for leading and setting strategic direction in terms of the Congress Sales for Kuoni Tumlare Congress Drives performance that leads the sales department towards significant growth within all congress segments. This role requires a strong understanding of the association and corporate sales market, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

You will:

  • Develop the segment market budget together with the other Client Relations Executive & Head of Congress.
  • Obtain profound business insights through research and analysis that supports the overall development of the segment.
  • Lead and develop a focused team responsible for new business acquisition, sales key account management and reactivation of dormant potential clients.
  • Develop, review and establish a sales strategy within the defined area of responsibility in-line with overall company objectives, always ensuring client satisfaction is delivered to maintain positive ongoing relationships and further improve the financial performance of the unit.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, marketing, event management, data management or project management.
  • Fluency in English and at least 1 or 2 other European languages (French, German, Spanish).
  • Strong IT literacy and experience with association or corporate sales.
  • Problem-solving skills, time management, flexibility and project management skills.

Estimated salary range: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
