About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead our team of engineers in developing and delivering high-quality software products. As a key member of our Device Service Organization, you will be responsible for setting the technical direction and vision for our cloud services, driving high availability and scalability, and hiring and developing top talent to deliver features that delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the definition and development of multi-tier web services, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Partner with product and program management teams to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
  • Recruit, hire, mentor, and manage teams of high-caliber Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers.
  • Develop and maintain engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
  • Experience managing a team of high-caliber Software Engineers developing complex, world-class, scalable software systems.
  • Leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience.
