Software Development Manager Job Description

Ring is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead our Device Service Organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering multiple cloud services that support our critical functionalities in the Ring ecosystem.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in managing teams of software engineers. You will be responsible for setting a high operational bar, driving high availability and scalability of your service, and hiring and developing the best engineers to deliver features that delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and deliver cloud services

  • Define the team's vision and goals, engage closely with stakeholders, product partners, and customers, and manage delivery of short, medium, and long-term plans
