Software Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead our team of engineers in developing and delivering high-quality cloud services that support our critical functionalities in the Ring ecosystem.
As a Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for owning the maintenance, design, development, and delivery of multiple cloud services, driving high availability and scalability, and hiring and developing the best engineers to deliver features that delight our customers.

We are a growing team, and we are looking for a leader who can help us define the team's vision and goals, engage closely with stakeholders, product partners, and customers, and manage delivery of short, medium, and long-term plans.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of high-caliber Software Engineers developing complex, world-class, scalable software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
- Define and develop multi-tier web services experience.
- Partner with product and program management teams to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
- Recruit, hire, mentor, and manage teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective, product software engineers.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations.
- Experience managing a team of Software Engineers developing complex software systems.
- Leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience.
