Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead our team of Software Engineers in delivering high-quality software products that meet the needs of our customers.
About the Role: As a Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of multiple cloud services that support our critical functionalities in the Ring ecosystem. You will work closely with stakeholders, product partners, and customers to define the team's vision and goals, and manage the delivery of short, medium, and long-term plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers.
- Communication: Communicate with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
- Engineering Practices: Develop and maintain knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations.
