We are jameda GmbH, a leading technology company in the healthcare industry. Our mission is to make the healthcare experience more human. We're looking for a seasoned legal executive to lead our legal team in Spain and Portugal.

jameda GmbH has been empowering patients by providing access to reviews about their visits, and we've enabled doctors to manage bookings easily. Today, we have operations in 13 countries, serving over 90 million patients every month, and employing over 2,700 people worldwide. Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. Additionally, you'll receive flexible remuneration and benefits through Flexoh, including a restaurant card, transportation card, kindergarten support, and training tax savings. After six months, you'll be eligible for a share options plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop our legal strategy, ensuring it supports business growth while protecting the company from risk.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including SaaS agreements, commercial partnerships, vendor contracts, and licensing agreements.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data privacy laws, and other industry-specific regulations.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks related to our products, services, and operations.
- Provide corporate governance advice, including board matters, policies, and equity structuring.
- Lead and manage the legal department, including in-house counsel and external resources as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the management team, sales, and other departments to align legal advice with our goals.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a legal role, preferably with a focus on technology, software development, or healthcare. In-house experience is highly valued.
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in data protection-related matters.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, such as medical devices, is an advantage.
- Strong commercial savvy, comfortable advising on business transactions, and a solid understanding of contract law and commercial agreements.
- Proven leadership experience, guiding legal teams or departments, and a track record of advising senior leadership on complex legal matters.
- Effective communication skills, translating legal jargon into plain language, and providing practical advice that non-legal teams can understand.
- A proactive thinker who anticipates legal issues and offers creative, business-friendly solutions.
- Strong collaboration and international project management skills, working closely with talented lawyers across different countries and jurisdictions.
- Languages: Spanish and English are essential; Portuguese is an asset.
