About the Role:
As a Senior Business Development Manager at Toluna, you will be responsible for driving business growth and delivering exceptional results. Your primary objective will be to develop and maintain a healthy active pipeline of new business opportunities, ensuring that you exceed quarterly and annual targets. You will work closely with the Enterprise Account Director to create a personalized account-based approach, aligned with the Go To Market strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and exceed quarterly and annual targets, including compiling and monitoring weekly and quarterly forecasts, and creating a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a healthy active pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Conduct effective outreach on a weekly basis, as per the Go To Market strategy set by the business.
- Uncover prospect challenges that we are able to help them resolve through a value-based selling approach.
- Build relationships at management level and day-to-day buyer level.
- Ensure all clients are delighted and can promote internally a positive experience of Toluna.
- Create bids and proposals that resolve identified prospect needs and articulate the benefits of working with Toluna.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Account Director to create a personalized account-based approach in line with the Go To Market strategy.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the solutions Toluna offers and Toluna's systems.
Requirements:
- 2-5+ years proven successful experience at account executive, account manager or commercial insight role within a research or marketing organization.
- The ability to uncover opportunities within a business, problem solve, and articulate the benefits of the solution to sell 'value' driven deals.
- You can articulate strengths and clear benefits when negotiating against our competitors.
- You understand market research/insight and have had exposure to different areas of market research.
- You thrive in a fast-paced and consultative sales arena, covering a wide range of clients and doing the bidding and full deal cycle yourself with a range of deal sizes and volume.
