Job Description

We are seeking a Country Sales Director for Spain and Portugal to join our well-established sales organization in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the Spanish and Portuguese markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full P&L responsibility for all business operations in Spain and Portugal
  • Proactive and dynamic leadership of a team of approximately 15 employees
  • Strategic development of the business and implementation of sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and increase brand awareness
  • Expansion of key markets such as building technology, machine building, wind energy & e-mobility, and identification of new business opportunities
  • Management of the distribution network and direct business to end customers
  • Maintenance and deepening of relationships with key accounts
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A technical degree or degree in Business Administration; an MBA would be an asset
  • Long-term leadership experience in General or Sales Management roles, preferably with P&L responsibility
  • Good knowledge of automation, electrical engineering, electronics, or electromechanical components for industrial applications and/or building technology
  • An entrepreneurial, pro-active, and passionate sales personality with conceptual capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and business fluency in Spanish and English
  • Trustworthiness and willingness to relocate to the Barcelona region
