We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our business with existing customers and identifying new markets and customers in the food industry in Spain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with industrial food customers in Spain, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Provide technical and commercial knowledge of cereals, grains, flours, and flakes to customers and suppliers.
- Manage customer and supplier relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Identify opportunities in the portfolio and supplement missing product/solution offerings.
- Conduct market analyses to understand supplier and customer needs, assess competitive landscapes, and identify new opportunities.
- Act as Product Manager for various product ranges and/or suppliers, taking responsibility for the relationship and purchases with them.
Requirements:
- Degree in Food Technology or Food Chemistry.
- Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development.
- Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- High willingness to travel.
- Very organized, reliable, and positive thinking.
- Very good knowledge of Spanish and English (fluent in spoken and written).
- Valid driving license.
