About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our business with existing customers and identifying new markets and customers in the food industry in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of industrial food customers in Spain.
  • Technical and commercial knowledge of cereals in all their forms, grains, flours, flakes...
  • Customer & supplier relationship management: Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Portfolio management: Identifying opportunities in the portfolio and supplementing missing product/solution offerings.
  • Market / Competition: Conduct in-depth market analyses to understand supplier & customer needs, assess competitive landscapes and identify new opportunities.
  • Act as Product Manager for various product ranges and/or suppliers, taking responsibility for the relationship and purchases with them.
  • Negotiation with suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Food Technology/Food Chemistry.
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development.
  • Exceptionally good communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
  • High willingness to travel.
  • Very organized, reliable, positive thinking.
  • Very good knowledge of Spanish and English (fluent in spoken and written).
  • Valid driving license.
