Technical Sales Manager for Food Ingredients in Spain

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult in Spain. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling Food Ingredients to the Food Industry in Spain, primarily overseeing the expansion of business with existing customers, as well as the identification and exploration of new markets and customers in the food market in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of industrial food customers in Spain.
  • Technical and commercial knowledge of cereals in all their forms (grains, flours, flakes) will be an asset.
  • Customer & supplier relationship management: Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Portfolio management: Identifying opportunities in the portfolio and supplementing missing product/solution offerings.
  • Market / Competition: Conduct in-depth market analyses to understand supplier & customer needs, assess competitive landscapes, and identify new opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Food Technology/Food Chemistry.
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development.
  • Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • High willingness to travel.
  • Very organized, reliable, positive thinking.
  • Very good knowledge of Spanish and English (fluent in spoken and written).
  • You have a valid driving license.
