The Job:

Based in Europe, the purpose of this role is to lead Congress Sales strategy for Kuoni Tumlare. This involves driving performance growth within all congress segments, developing market budgets, and obtaining business insights through research and analysis. You will lead a focused team responsible for new business acquisition, sales key account management, and reactivation of dormant potential clients. Your goal is to develop and implement an effective sales strategy aligned with company objectives while ensuring client satisfaction and delivering positive ongoing relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with substantial external clients at senior levels.
  • Maintain market and competitor activity knowledge to identify growth areas and drive expansion into new markets and segments.
  • Create budgets and offers for clients and continuously develop, implement, and execute sales strategies to deliver profitable growth.
  • Support sustainability inclusion in the division's workflow by providing explanations, references, and proposals in commercial presentations and pitches.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate business risks, demonstrating thought leadership through sharing knowledge and expertise.
Requirements:

We are looking for individuals with a Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, marketing, event management, data management, or project management. Fluency in English and at least one other European language (French, German, Spanish) is required, as well as strong IT literacy. Experience in association or corporate sales, active client database management, problem-solving skills, time management, flexibility, project management skills, open-mindedness, customer focus attitude, and experience with PCO and association business are desirable. As a bright, proactive decision maker with strong people skills, you should be able to adapt quickly to the company's operating environment and capture the trust and respect of colleagues and external stakeholders.
