Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Junior HR Specialist to join our Madrid office, focusing on recruitment, employee engagement, and HR administration. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our projects across the region.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Recruitment & Onboarding:
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and employee records.
HR Administration:
  • Manage employee documentation, including contracts, amendments, and personal files.
  • Support payroll administration by preparing and submitting necessary information to the finance team.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with the business operations team across the company to ensure processes are actioned
Employee Engagement & Communication:
  • Promoting the Hyphen Values
  • Help organize employee engagement activities and events to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
  • Support internal communication efforts, including the dissemination of company updates and HR-related information.
Training & Development:
  • Coordinate training sessions and professional development opportunities for employees.
  • Monitoring training engagement metrics through our own platforms.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and programs.
Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics as required, including employee attendance, turnover, and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensuring staff reviews are completed and recorded
Employee Relations:
  • Support the resolution of employee issues and concerns, escalating to management as needed.
  • Promote a culture of open communication and mutual respect within the office.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is approximately €25,000 - €35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including access to training and development opportunities, health insurance, and a pension plan.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR or a related field, preferably in a creative or design-focused industry.
  • Strong organisational, attention to detail and administrative qualities.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of HR practices and local labor laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HR software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
