Overview
SAP, a leading provider of business digital transformation solutions, offers an exciting opportunity for a Sales Development Executive. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities in the DACH region.
Role Description
As a Sales Development Executive at SAP, your primary responsibility will be to act as a trusted advisor to customers, developing relationships with prospects and identifying their potential needs. You will be responsible for initiating contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inquiries generated by Marketing.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop sales strategies to draw in prospects and solicit new potential customers
- Initiate contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inquiries
- Create relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability
- Plan and execute outbound campaigns using state-of-the-art tools
- Provide marketing support for major SAP events
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong sales hunting skills
- At least 1 year of experience in telemarketing and/or Demand Generation/Sales experience working in a software sales organization
- Experience in modern digital prospecting techniques such as LinkedIn and Social Media Listening
- Proven ability to work to targets in a sales environment
- Understanding of business challenges facing a defined industry and line of business
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent German and fluent English language skills
