The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our users, ensuring that our IT systems and infrastructure are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Helpdesk Support: Provide timely and effective support to users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- System Administration: Manage and maintain our user-oriented services, including email, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records of all IT equipment and software, ensuring that our assets are properly tracked and accounted for.
- User Training: Develop and deliver training programs to users on various IT services, promoting digital literacy and ensuring that our users are equipped to effectively utilize our IT systems.
- Documentation and Review: Review and update our IT documentation, ensuring that it is accurate, comprehensive, and easily accessible to users.
The IT Department at the CRG is responsible for providing a wide range of IT services to our users, including helpdesk support, system administration, and user training. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and support, ensuring that our users have the tools and resources they need to succeed.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in IT systems administration, with a focus on user-oriented support.
- Skills: Strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Language: Fluency in English, Spanish, and Catalan.
