Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive technical documentation for our API reference content, ensuring clarity and concision for our developer audience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Adyen to deliver documentation that meets our style guide and exceeds expectations.
- Evaluate our tech stack and processes for improvements, driving continuous innovation and efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver quality documentation and drive best practices in technical writing.
- Review, challenge, and copy edit content created by non-writers, ensuring consistency and excellence in our documentation.
- 5+ years of experience in technical/developer documentation, with a strong focus on API reference content.
- Extensive experience with docs-as-code (git, markdown) and a passion for driving continuous improvements.
- Strong data analysis skills to inform documentation strategy and drive business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to write conceptual documentation, detailed integration guides, code samples, API reference, and other online materials in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience developing with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, PHP, Ruby, or others is a plus.
- Previous fintech experience is preferred, but not required.
