About the Role

As an IT Support Engineer Intern at Amazon, you will be part of a dynamic team that resolves complex technical challenges and ensures the smooth operation of our operations network. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support to our customers, managing and deploying a diverse array of IT devices and technologies across our various site types.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality IT support to our customers, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with the Amazon Operations teams to identify process improvements and standardize systems, enhancing the customer experience.
  • Work on innovative projects that have a direct impact on our customer experience, leveraging your technical expertise to drive solutions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and standardize systems, with a focus on enhancing the customer experience.

About the Team

Amazon Operations IT teams are responsible for keeping our operations running smoothly by resolving complex hardware, software, server, and infrastructure issues. Our support model is based on both on-site and remote support teams spread across our network, providing IT services to all Amazon Operations buildings.

Requirements

  • Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university degree in IT / Computer science / Engineering or other tech fields.
  • Eligible to complete a full-time internship of 3-6 months.
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written English and Spanish (Common European Framework of Reference C1).
