About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Engineer Intern to join our team at Engineeringuk. As an IT Support Engineer Intern, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to our operations network, working alongside industry-leading engineers to solve complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality IT support to our customers, ensuring a consistently high level of service.
  • Manage and deploy a diverse range of IT devices and technologies across our various site types.
  • Diagnose and reproduce technical issues with Amazon technology products, identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
  • Collaborate with the Amazon Operations teams to identify and implement process improvements and standardize systems.
  • Work on innovative projects that have a direct impact on our customer experience.
About the Team

Our IT teams keep Amazon's operations running smoothly by resolving complex hardware, software, server, and infrastructure issues. Our support model is based on both on-site and remote support teams spread across our network.

Requirements
  • Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or other tech fields.
  • Eligible to complete a full-time internship of 3-6 months.
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
  • Basic knowledge of systems, networks, or operating systems, including concepts like deployment, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with others.
