About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer Intern to join our Operations team. As an IT Support Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our Operations network, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and collaborating with our team to resolve problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to our Operations network, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with our team to resolve problems and improve our technical infrastructure.
  • Work on innovative projects that have a direct impact on our customer experience.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and standardize systems, all with an eye towards enhancing the customer experience.
Requirements
  • Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university degree in IT / Computer science / Engineering or other tech fields.
  • Eligible to complete a full-time internship of 3-6 months.
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written English and Spanish (Common European Framework of Reference C1).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of at least one of the following: systems, networks, or operating systems, including concepts like deployment, troubleshooting, and system upgrades on client devices and/or IT infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows Server operating systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and innovative solutions.
