We're looking for an experienced Sales Team Leader to join our UKI Sales team, based in either Barcelona, Edinburgh, or Birmingham.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to lead a passionate and driven team, contribute to our ongoing success, and be part of an innovative and dynamic organization making waves in the travel industry.
As a Sales Team Leader, you'll:
- Lead a team of 8 Sales Executives covering the UKI Market, spread across 3 EU hubs.
- Conduct weekly 1:1s and pipeline reviews with the team to ensure continued success in target achievement.
- Work closely with each rep to problem-solve deal and revenue blockers.
- Setup monthly development objectives for individuals and review overall performance.
- Provide accurate forecasts, reports, and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Coach and mentor a world-class cross-functional team.
- Have a strong focus on constant skill development of the sales team.
- Identify individual and team training needs.
- Onboard and train new salespeople.
- Have an in-depth understanding of TravelPerk products to confidently provide mentorship for your Sales team.
- Work in partnership with other Sales Managers and internal stakeholders to develop educational material.
- Develop specific training sessions based on collected recordings and direct feedback from your team.
We're looking for:
- A proven track record in motivating a team of reps to achieve a sales revenue target.
- Experience in team coaching or management of a new business team with outbound prospecting targets.
- Experience selling software into the UKI Market.
- Previous experience in hiring and developing top talent for your team.
- Around 3-5 years of proven quarter-over-quarter sales success as an individual contributor.
- Data-led in your approach.
- Ability to design effective training programs.
- Hand-on experience creating presentations (e.g., videos or slides).
- A very creative and solution-driven attitude.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate people, demonstrating strong empathy.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
