Galderma is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our team. As a key interface between Galderma and external suppliers, you will be responsible for resolving technical challenges, overseeing validation activities, and evaluating technical changes.
Key Responsibilities- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of packaging specifications, testing results, and compliance documentation to meet internal and regulatory requirements.
- Packaging Development: Collaborate with the product development team to develop innovative and functional packaging solutions for new and existing cosmetic products. Evaluate and select materials that are safe and suitable for the product while aligning with the company's sustainability goals.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes for packaging materials and finished products with support from the product development team. Conduct tests and inspections to ensure line trial validation & packaging meets the required standards and is free from defects.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with packaging suppliers to source packaging materials for secondary & tertiary packaging.
- Project Management: Create project plans, set milestones, and coordinate the efforts of the packaging team and other stakeholders to keep packaging projects on track and within set timelines.
- Risk Assessment and Troubleshooting: Identify potential risks and challenges related to packaging and develop strategies to mitigate them. Troubleshoot any packaging issues that may arise during production or distribution.
- Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industries, gained especially in Production or CI.
- Knowledge of GMP / GDP is strongly meriting.
- Project management experience.
- Development experience (secondary & tertiary packaging).
- Formal continuous improvement qualification (lean sigma green or black belt preferable).
