Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Assistant to join our Housekeeping department. The successful candidate will assist the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist General Management:
    • Support the Executive Housekeeper in motivating, training, supervising, evaluating, and disciplining Housekeeping and Laundry employees.
    • Assist in planning daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly assignments and projects for Room Attendants, Guest Floor Attendants, Public Area, Uniform/Laundry Attendants, and Supervisors.
    • Collaborate with the Executive Housekeeper to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and recommend procedural changes.
    • Perform administrative duties, including departmental scheduling, payroll, purchase requests, and monthly consumption reports.
    • Implement and maintain an ongoing Safe & Sound program.
  • Guestrooms and Public Areas:
    • Conduct daily inspections of public areas, guestrooms, exterior of the building, and back house areas to ensure exceptional standards.
    • Monitor progress, ensure completion of deep cleaning programs, and assign tasks to Housekeeping colleagues.
  • Guests' Requests Handling:
    • Respond to guest inquiries, provide assistance, direction, and information as requested.
    • Conduct daily communication meetings to ensure seamless guest service.
    • Perform line-level functions in emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of Housekeeping managerial experience in a luxury hotel.
  • Excellent written and verbal command of the Spanish and English language.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Excellent overall communication skills.
  • Able to multitask and work well in a team environment.
