About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our EMEA Merchant Acquisition Sales organization in Madrid. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing relationships with merchants in the German market, enabling them to accept American Express cards as a method of payment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Grow the small merchants base network in the German market by calling allocated leads and searching for own prospects.
  • End-to-end ownership of a lead, from first contact through to closing the sale, account set up, and ensuring that merchants can fully benefit from accepting American Express in their establishment.
  • Participate in tactical sales campaigns throughout the year.
Requirements
  • Native/proficient level of German written and spoken.
  • Background working for/in Germany.
  • Previous sales experience over the telephone is a plus.
  • Good organization and high productivity skills.
  • Willing to sell, driven by objectives, ambitious, and communicative.
  • Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, Salesforce a bonus).
