Position Overview

As a DACH Senior Implementation Specialist at TravelPerk, you will act as a key platform authority, understanding client requirements and delivering proactive guidance and assistance throughout their onboarding journey. Your strong change management capabilities will be essential in this role, where you will leverage your platform knowledge and stakeholder management skills to align platform functionalities with client expectations.

Your responsibilities will include developing a comprehensive rollout strategy that effectively addresses the unique needs of each client, ensuring both immediate and long-term success. You will take a prominent role in the global Implementation and Revenue teams, showcasing your expertise and ownership.

Your primary goal will be to prepare new clients for utilizing TravelPerk for their business travel needs. This involves executing platform configurations, providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring user readiness. You will customize client accounts according to their specifications and requirements, offer proactive support for integrations, and coordinate tailored training sessions with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for clients during the implementation phase, representing TravelPerk with professionalism.
  • Engage in consultative discussions with clients to gather their specific requirements.
  • Utilize your experience and data-driven best practices to address client needs effectively.
  • Oversee the rollout of the platform for clients, providing them with guides, templates, and recommendations to ensure successful adoption.
  • Take full responsibility for the timeline and management of the account during the implementation phase, directing internal resources to support clients.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for newly onboarded clients, including sessions for executive stakeholders and company-wide training.
  • Provide technical support as clients establish integrations with marketplace partners or custom API solutions.
  • Monitor client booking behavior post-implementation to validate configuration and satisfaction, proactively offering support and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with various departments within TravelPerk, including Sales, Account Management, Product Development, Engineering, and Finance.
  • Analyze completed implementation projects to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Embrace a cycle of execution, assessment, improvement, and adaptation as the team and organization evolve.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the Implementation Team, utilizing coaching and leadership skills to support colleagues.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • A customer-centric approach, focusing on ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for clients.
  • Experience in implementing products for diverse clients.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects in a dynamic environment, including defining scope and adapting to changing requirements.
  • Demonstrated capability to engage with C-level stakeholders, articulating their needs and concerns clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to build relationships across all organizational levels, adapting communication and approach as necessary.
  • A consultative mindset when making recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
