Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Systems Specialist to join our team at Alight. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge HR technology and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for our clients.

About the Role

This role requires someone with strong technical skills, particularly in HR pre-, post-, and payroll processing, as well as functional knowledge of HR concepts and technologies such as SAP HCM, Peoplesoft, euHReka, Workday, and SuccessFactors. The ideal candidate will have experience working on multiple projects simultaneously and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Implementation:
    • Assist in making estimates for the development of ad-hoc system requirements provided by customers;
    • Analyze questionnaires provided by Projects teams and configure them in Payroll Exchange;
    • Collaborate with the Products team in resolving issues and raising new functionalities to be added to the standard product as required by customers;
    • Ensure compliance with the Payroll Exchange standard;
    • Adapt and parameterize the system solution for requirement gathering;
    • Perform testing for different phases of a project as required;
    • Resolve medium complexity problems related to the functional environment of the application;
    • Complete presented solution with newly identified needs during requirements gathering;
    • Ensure proper implementation of the solution in different environments (Development, Test, and Production);
    • Monitor data migration loading with enforced controls;
  • Maintenance and Support:
    • Resolve medium complexity problems related to the functional environment of the application;
    • Perform testing for system fixes to ensure the solution works;
    • Support clients on queries regarding application functions;
    • Conduct routine checks for preventive maintenance on the system;
    • Solve easy and medium complexity problems related to the application environment, using functional knowledge of parameters in the system and knowledge of legislation in the country;
    • Perform unit testing of these parameterization results; carrying out necessary tests in a testing environment;
    • Maintain up-to-date documentation of solution documents and technical specifications both on the client and standard levels;
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of HR pre-, post-, and payroll processing;
    • Functional knowledge of HR concepts and technologies such as SAP HCM, Peoplesoft, euHReka, Workday, and SuccessFactors;
    • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously;
    • Knowledge in data migration processes (Alight Service Engineer Data Migration);
    • Knowledge and experience with WebMethods 9;

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
