Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for supervising the food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Experience
    • Maintain and improve guest satisfaction through exceptional service and quality.
  • Operations Management
    • Coordinate opening and closing tasks to ensure seamless operations.
    • Manage food and beverage control, including inventory, outlet pars, cost controls, and sales analysis.
  • Team Leadership
    • Train and supervise staff on control policies and procedures.
    • Monitor adherence to all control policies and procedures.
  • Service Standards
    • Ensure the team provides excellent service and continually strives to exceed expectations.
    • Ensure service and other standards according to SOPs are adhered to.
  • Cash Handling and Inventory
    • Ensure cash handling procedures are followed and all stock items are managed.
  • Training and Development
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverage to meet set standards.
    • Ensure that the team is continually trained in product knowledge, all menus, and hotel initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in hospitality within food and beverage.
  • Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management is valuable.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
