We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Food and Beverage to join our team at Hilton Barcelona. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for leading the Food and Beverage department and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and high-quality dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Direct and organize the activities of the Food and Beverage departments, including the Kitchen, Banquet Operations, Restaurants, Room Service, and Bars.
- Quality and Service Standards: Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
- Operations and Planning: Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food and Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
- Cost Control and Budgeting: Implement effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs among all subdepartments and monitor the food and beverage budget to ensure efficient operation and that expenditures stay within budget limitations.
- Team Development and Training: Hire, train, supervise, develop, discipline, and counsel all food and beverage management team members according to Hilton Hotels Corporation policies and procedures.
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent required; 4-year college degree preferred.
- Experience: Ten years experience in food and beverage, three of which should be from a management level.
- Licenses or Certificates: Food Service Sanitation, Alcohol Service Permit (if state-required), CPR certification preferred.
- Grooming and Uniforms: All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
- Additional Skills: Additional language ability preferred.
