Mattel, a leading global toy and family entertainment company, seeks an experienced Senior Licensing Associate to join its team in Spain. Job DescriptionThis senior-level role reports directly to the Head of Consumer Products Iberia & Italy and involves managing the day-to-day licensing business relationships in Spain. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and pitching new category opportunities and prospective clients;
- Negotiating licensing deals and renewals;
- Developing and implementing joint business plans with partners;
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in licensing or a related field, with experience in building strong relationships with clients and partners. Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and a passion for the toy industry are essential.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in licensing or a related field;
- Strong knowledge of the Spanish market and regulatory environment;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis tools.
Mattel offers a competitive salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities.
LocationThis role is based in Madrid, Spain, with frequent travel required to meet with partners and stakeholders.
