Alfa Laval Iberica is seeking a highly skilled Service Sales Engineer to join our team in the Olive Oil & Wine Market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry, with a focus on olive oil and wine production and processing.

As a Service Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans to grow our Authorized Service Provider network in the Iberian Peninsula.

You will work closely with our ASPs to understand customer needs and provide value-based solutions to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities include analyzing market insights, developing business strategies, and aligning procedures for our ASPs.

Additionally, you will engage with local and central service organizations to drive service business and manage leads to convert them into real business opportunities.

About the role:

  • Analyze and understand market insights and customers' buying behavior to make & implement business division strategy and targets by implementing sales plans based on management, development, and growth of AL Authorized Service Provider (ASP) network.
  • Be active together with ASPs in the market and focus on making visits, meetings, and interactions to customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services.
  • Support ASPs, if it is the case, during the negotiation phase with end customers.
  • Align and develop common procedures for all ASPs as well as the responsibility for training ASPs in product and application.
  • Engage & build networking with both local and central service organizations in order to get necessary support to drive service business.
  • Look for and manage leads from the market and customers and convert them into real business opportunities to ensure the pipeline, both in service and capital sales.
